     @ben Not really surprising, see about:compat in Firefox and code like https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/blob/main/Source/WebCore/page/Quirks.cpp for WebKit, which is full of workaround against Google and Microsoft crap.

     @ben And I wouldn't be surprised if Chromium itself has similar kind of code in place, even against Google websites themselves.

     @ben @aral Also, the irony seems to be lost on them that their slowing load times on their services for those not bending to their will can only speed up people’s efforts to de-Google their lives.

     The tighter they grip the universe, the more star systems slip through their fingers.
