翠星石 (suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com)'s status on Monday, 13-Nov-2023 20:01:20 JST 翠星石 @dragestil I'm not sure, but as far as I can tell, a bunch of land was allocated to national parks at random in Australia and as a result, many of national parks are only feasible to reach via road.
Wikipedia notes that it's situated in a deep gorge, which makes putting a train line in expensive and I'm not sure if the river is suitable for ferries. -

Putting a walkway and cycle path next to the road shouldn't be too difficult even so - that would really only consist of making the road a bit wider (or the lanes a bit narrower) and placing the road barriers to separate the path. -
