>Christians in these comments telling him to repent or else he'll go to Hell Why do you all keep doing this He is literally poised to oppose all notions of your savior and you're still like "Oh no please repent, I don't want you to go to the Hell place!" You should want suffering for people like that, and even if he didn't denigrate Christ you should want him to burn because of how much of an insufferable dickhead he is.
@Owl@bp Ezekiel 33: >10 Now as for you, son of man, tell the house of Israel that this is what they have said: ‘Our transgressions and our sins are heavy upon us, and we are wasting away because of them! How can we live?’
>11 Say to them: ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’
It's very simple. God Himself takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. We shouldn't either.
@BowsacNoodle@bp How is this working out for you guys? Be completely honest. I'm not even being mean but I'm being serious. How well is this working out?
@Owl@bp Fine for me. It is easy for me to recognize both the friend enemy distinction and the need for restraint lest we succumb to the pull of the slippery slope of violence outside the bounds put in place by a just ruler. We presently don't have just rule of law, so it's more like a matter of time until that changes and things become more interesting.
@Owl@bp >We presently don't have just rule of law, so it's more like a matter of time until that changes and things become more interesting. No, it does not. Hence the above sentence I wrote.
@D-Droid@Owl@bp For sure. There's a time and a place for it. Sometimes that time is upon us. Sometimes the challenges we face our more of consequences for falling away from God's commandments. That many don't recognize the distinction between those is an issue as well.
@Owl@bp Owl, I would rather he convert than spend an eternity in hell. On a spiritual level, that is how I feel. At a physical fleshly level, he's a jerk who should've been shoved into more lockers or beaten with soap-in-a-sock in the gym class showers. I cannot and will not let my disgust for foolish people cause me to wish for their damnation. That is wrong per my religious beliefs. Earthly punishment is a different story.
Ezekiel 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
It's the right thing to do to give them a warning and it's what God expects. Once they're warned we won't be held accountable for it. If we let the kike just stew in his hatred for Christ without rebuking him, then we will be held personally accountable.
@tyler@Owl@bp Romams 12:19 >Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” It is the right thing to do to give warning, as you said, but it is also the wrong thing to do to play paladin unjustly. I am not qualified to make the declaration for call to crusade. When it happens, I'll be prepared to answer.
@Owl@BowsacNoodle@bp What are you talking about? It isn't "working out" good or bad because nobody practices that anymore. Everyone used to say things like "say your prayers" and actually mean it because people used to be good Christians even towards their enemies, better times when we were winning.
Now everyone is like "I hope so and so is burning in Hell" because that value has been eroded, people have become judaized, praying to God to use His unlimited power to settle their petty grievances. We didn't start to lose because of the way we were, we became the way we are now as a result of falling.
Owl, I think you make the same wrong assumption as many fallen Christians, equating "May God have mercy on your soul" with "May humans have mercy on your living body for literally everything at all times." It's fine to kill someone and still hope they go to Heaven. The two aren't really related, you might even be doing their soul a favor by killing them.
(I know your OP in this thread is about effortposting, I only went to this trouble because you said you were honestly asking)
@Owl@MeBigbrain@bp That wasn't my intended point, but fair enough. [Kill those who disagree / bottom text] is a meme ideology even if it's a good distillation of reality.
@BowsacNoodle@MeBigbrain@bp The whole "I don't care what you think because you're not a Christian thing and I'm here to shift criticism of faulty thinking to target you to tell you that you're a le sinner" stuff is bogus, which is what sidetracked my entire lobby.
