They're basically responsible for everything around soyjak "culture", the fruits of which I'm sure you've seen posted here and there. In any case, the way this inspires metaphysical ugliness should be plainly self evident.

Something changed when soyjack was introduced. I’ve often wondered if it was introduced by bad actors, rather than organic, for this reason, but people latched onto it.
  Hard to understate how hellish dissident right internet was three years ago. I don’t know what was going on, but it was horrible, and has recovered somewhat.

  Usually when one sees them, it’s followed by a willfully retarded take, that’s so retarded it starts to become ironic.
  That’s how I eventually used them, but very sparingly. Same for gigachad. And I think most people do as well. They don’t take these memes at face value, and it can be funny like that, but it seems like somethings been lost regardless. The brightness, optimism, innocence has been wiped out.

  There is no difference between irony and seriousness to them. They are so irony poisoned that they can only respond to seriousness with an attack. While I think Arendt was a total hack for coining it in reference to Eichmann's crimes against humanity, I do think it's an appropriate frame of mind to understand the potentialities irony poisoning (and especially soyjak culture) brings to the table.
