     Japanese and Korean women are much prettier, but both are more high maintenance and the costs of their countries compared to Thailand and the Philippines.
     
     I've heard this saying about Japanese women, they make great girlfriends, but when you get married they become bossy wives.

     @charlie_root @pyrate Yeah I think woggy or somebody linked an article from an expat talking about how brutal it was. The women are domineering (and not in any type of "fun" way), and it sounds like a lot of the business culture is basically a reaction to that so the dudes can be away from that. It makes the vegetable man syndrome of the Japanese man sound like it's their version of MGTOW, although slightly more understandable if their women are really that atrocious.
