     Down to append or change whatever u like onto what I’ve already got. Just lmk. I can send you files at any point. A postscript would be fantastic. The main intervention I’ve personally taken other than splitting stuff into pages is to put the references inline at the end of paragraphs.

     It’s pretty well ready to get formatted for print now, all I’ve got left is to add a front and back cover and make any changes to the text or internal visuals that are called for.

     Also wanna stay clear I’m just putting in what I can, trying to collaborate with ppl. Someone else should def throw down a jacket design, and anything else.

     @kittenlikeasmallcat @0utside0utsider @ildottore @lydiaposting it would be cool to put some visual content throughout it kinda like the cyber-nihilist zine someone made a few years back (https://codeberg.org/nyx/writings/src/branch/master/nihil/hellofromthewired-zine.pdf), but idk what I would put exactly. it's a bit outside of my wheelhouse, especially within the time constraints of trying to get it done by the 31st
     
     I'm imagining having some technical illustrations like this MULTICS schematics thing, but gackcore aestheticized to fit with the whole "blackpaper" theme. I also have a very vague idea of what a cover could look like but idk how to describe it rn

     anyways this is something we should definitely do and maybe also I should add a postscript or something to it as well. I think that would be cool and there are a few things I would like to comment on. idk what other ideas were brought up for this

     @ildottore @0utside0utsider @lydiaposting @nyx Since all kinds of people have mixed experiences of deadlines, this ziney project could account for either a prompt or a sabotage of that. I’m hoping in this case its a motivating prompt. Personally I’d love to have this finished by Halloween.

     Either way I’m not in charge of shit fuck that’s for totally sure.

     Definitely wanna give the nyx all the input or revisions or additions she wants to have. I haven’t even touched the folded book formatting yet.

     Rn it’s at 8 sheets of paper 28 page total and it could have 4 to 12 more pages which is all told 1 to 3 more sheets and still be perfectly staple-able. I’m holding a 14-sheet 59-page one rn.

     Tbh I’ve got no need to continue the thing if its misaligned with what the author who’s like… yknow… standing right there *points* is into.

     I do have ideas for moving forward tho. Namely that Talmudic-response approach {a la @ildottore}.

     But like idk. @nyx do u like… even want to do that? What’s your take? I think it would also be cool to smuggle other newer writing in there too.

     I was just unilaterally like “oh that’s a neat idea” and opened up gimp tbh.

     @0utside0utsider There’s room for a square-ish image on the back cover paired with the last sentence. There’s also space after the first part for another inline image.

     Got a black text on white paper with color images and a magenta text on light black background so far, took influence from nyx ‘s blog for the fonts n colors.

     Also cc @nyx it’s looking like a thing is happening for the blackpaper’s fifth birthday.

     @0utside0utsider I’m interested in contributing to this. I can start by giving the text the same layout treatment as necromanhood and putting up a couple potential covers or influences for cover designs, but working collaboratively with others at least on the cover designs seems pretty important
