They're going to hunt Abrams, and the head of our military has no plans for how to deal with this.

@matty @sickburnbro the abrams is the pride and joy of the mic and often claimed to be truly invincible because the only times they've been destroyed were friendly fire incidents in the gulf war. if they get destroyed it's a huge blow to the credibility of the us military, the manufacturers, and the us as a whole. the tanks go from "invincible trump card" that can be used for sales and political bargaining to "overpriced overheavy overcomplicated piece of shit" which would cripple the us's ability to meaningfully persuade people with both military threats and offers to lease their equipment
basically, footage of dead abrams hits the us in the wallet and in the credibility, and the us operates on a doctrine that propaganda and lies rules everything else. you can't lie your way out of problems if your credibility gets blown up

I get the impression they (NATO/ZOG) drank their own koolaid too long and actually thought Russia was just a 'gas station with nukes' and that they could keep geopolitically pissing in their face without serious consequence.

well, the US wanted to win this on the cheap -and- was also worried that they might not be able to.
I also think Russia was being slow to go in specifically because they didn't want the US to know all their capabilities.
But now Ukraine is losing badly and the US is throwing equipment at them haphazardly, basically the best possibility for Russia

Just imagine being at the head of 'the most powerful military in world history' and awkwardly begging your enemy (who you also claim isn't your enemy...but is...but not really) to stop using effective tactics because it's not fair.

If the US really wanted to flex and show their power they'd have given 31 Abrams months ago, like a day after Biden promised them and proper M1A2s with all the armour, not some downgraded crap and they'd be providing hundreds more right now
Because really if the US actually has it's supposed thousands of them then it should be utterly irrelevant if the tech is revealed since they'd still have the shear numbers.
Plus if one really believed Ukraine could destroy Russia then losing the secrets of the Abrams wouldn't really matter since Russia is the only country you'd fight a land war with anyway. Spending a thousand Abrams to break Russia would be a no brainer if it was the case.
