     How often did left-wing protestors occupy space inside the capitol building in the last few decades? The Weather Underground communists literally bombed the capitol building in 1971, and they didn't get the treatment the J6 protestors are. Compared to that, walking between the ropes, breaking a handful of windows and walking off with a podium is child's play.
     
     As for what I actually believe? Of course I wouldn't self-incriminate regardless of guilt. It is stupid to make the job of people trying to destroy you easier.

     these were not kids. they knew the difference between protesting outside and going inside. the majority decided to protest outside and not damage any property or challenge cops or do anything violent.

     you don't believe that crap. you say it for your own entertainment. if somebody believes it and tries to violently fight the government, you'd laugh if they said you inspired them. until it's your cousin the cop they kill. then you'd be just like those dudes behind her.

     They thought they were dealing with the government they grew up with, the one shown on TV where protestors can move the government to correct wrongs if only they demonstrate.
     
     I suspect it took Ashley being murdered in front of them to break that illusion and realize it is a tyrannical government hellbent on enslaving every last person on the planet with no qualms about torturing and murdering them all.

     @wjmaggos @makeheroism They believed in logical appeals to a system that encourages black guys to shoot them dead and also locks them up endlessly in rape-prison without a trial. What's to elaborate?
     A guy not terribly far from me killed himself in the dungeon rather than continue to be tortured in the D.C. dungeon, doesn't sound like much of a play-actor.

     the logical appeals were the court cases, many decided by Trump appointed judges. if you want to say the system is corrupt, fine. either accept that and do nothing or go resist like it seemed they were doing. but giving up after one casualty? what that says to me is they never seriously considered the entire situation. I think that comes from this weird melding of reality TV and politics. half assed tribal civics. talk shit, never apply your standards to yourself.

     it doesn't matter to the audience. the point is usually not to convince the person spreading the information to stop, but to make sure the most possible people are not operating off bad info. red pilling.

     you know this.

     why did the guys behind Ashley fall back when she was killed? did they not think saving the country from a stolen election would take some losses? it's cause they were cosplaying. cause you've lost the distinction between entertainment and civics. that sucks.

     My complaint with NAS generally is that people there don't challenge other people there regarding misinfo etc (like they would if it was from the M5M or lefty talking points) if it comes out of MAGA fan alt media or leans right. It's biased in that way. A community that was welcoming to all, funny but also dedicated to truth is what I was hoping for when it started.

     I think what I do is different than RTing the worst of NAS and mocking them like LibsOfTikTok does.

     Cole Wagner is just one pro-life activist who has been arrested for sexual contact with a minor. This should not reflect on other conservative activists. Same with all the people #LibsOfTikTok highlights in order to shit on lefties.
