     @nugger The true solution to the bicycle question is motorised bicycles that can simply keep up with the cars when the rider feels like using the road but are still small and light enough to use on bicycle paths when they want to go slow.

     because there are e-bikes that go on the footpaths around here, illegally I'll note, and they just go along at 30 mph. hit some little old lady out for a walk and she's going to be badly hurt or killed, but they don't care
