Fun fact: Tall women tend to have been ostracized by their own peer group due to their height, much like short guys, and many guys are intimidated by them, so they're approached less often. They also don't have the "I need a guy who's 6' tall complex" because they're already tall themselves. There's no kink there. So do not be afraid to approach them.

But on the other hand they can be quite self-conscious about their own height, and don't like being reminded of it by being with a man shorter than they are. AA wife of a colleague of mine admitted this. She's like 5'10. He's 5'11 and she's comfortable with that. But when it came up that he had sprouted up by 2-3 inches early in college, she said outright that she would have had a really hard time going out with him at that earlier point.
