     I don't know if 51nb is still making them but back when they were you had to like ... wire over a thousand dollars to a personal chinese bank account and have a friend who knows Mandarin

     however there's someone else now who speaks English and is doing a similar hack who still has them in stock: https://www.xyte.ch/

     can't vouch for them personally but I've heard good things!

     @aeva @queue wait hang on! there is an older model you might be able to find used: the X62 is a modded X61; the last X series they made before the aspect ratio got worse: https://geoff.greer.fm/2017/07/16/thinkpad-x62/

     however, this post seems to imply the X62 had some downsides vs the newer X210: https://geoff.greer.fm/2019/03/04/thinkpad-x210/

     @otfrom the screen brightness is definitely the weakest point of this system; I've been meaning to look into the available mods that would bring the nits up to 400-500, but hey, at least it's not glossy!

     @technomancy Is than an X210? Running on battery no less?!? Outstandingly jealous. My X250 is good and all, but man. Nothing compares to the xx10 to xx30 era of ThinkPads.

     Edit: On second look, is that a modified X200? What has been done? I figured the X210 was a real laptop but no?

     @R4_Unit @1011X I never get my keys with labels normally, but this was a preproduction trial run version I got my hands on so I figured why not make a layout that's fun

     I managed to fit three DS9 characters into it so I'm counting that a win
