   To clarify for others: Mastodon server and webclient code is free and open source software. Also, because of AGPL every instance is legally required to provide source code once requested.

   Truth Social was a famous Mastodon modification and was forced to release their source code.

   The reason LibreJS is blocking it is just because Mastodon does not provide this licence information to the user's browser, only on their website and code repository. So LibreJS does not know if it's free or not.
   You can safely add Mastodon to the whitelist.

     @amszmidt @deadbeef @shelenn @dekkzz76 I was referring to the JS code used in the Mastodon UI, which is blocked by LibreJS per default because it has licensing issues (see screenshot).

     JavaScript itself is free but often abused by sending unlicensed or proprietary code to the user's browser.
