   The abrowser extension "Amplifier AMP/Canonical switcher" enables me to view webpages without nonfree javascript from time to time (including today),
   https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/amp-canonical-switcher. It is just 45 lines of code, that is cool. Reader mode in abrowser helps more often.    LibreJS isn't great, but isn't terrible, as it compromises partially on freedom to make some sites that are light on JavaScript for navigation frills work.
   
   Haketileo is the ideal solution, but using it is difficult due to the poor design of browsers.
