     It's too dangerous to abdicate control of transport to governments and publicly appointed monopolies. Therefore the common man must own his own means of transport and bikes aren't going to cut it for every kind of journey.
     
     If you'd like to argue motor vehicles should be smaller and lighter I'd be inclined to agree, but nonetheless they should exist and be privately owned.

     Rural people aren't the only ones who need cars. Most Americans live in suburban areas where a car is 100% necessary to do anything. My closest grocery store is a 10 minute drive.

     1. It is a rather impossible feat, since they cant even maintain roads.
     2. They are counting on it not being upgraded because they dont want you owning a car.
     3. Even upgraded, it couldnt sustain a full conversion to electric.
     4. There is no need to have electric cars. Co2 scare is a proven lie.
     5. Where is all the cobalt and lithium coming from that is much worse for the environment that oil?
