   I've never understood why people say shit like "this is a place where people leave their doors unlocked". I could live in the safest part of the safest place in the world and I would still lock my doors because I have basic self-preservation instincts.

     I never open my door unless I'm expecting someone or leaving. It's a good practice.

     @kilostere @Smirking I used to be the kind of guy who stopped for every unattended car, helped out every accident, and it’s been knocked out of me. Simply not worth it when people see nothing but legal wins everywhere.

     Somebody crash in front of your house? Do they want to come inside while they wait for the tow truck to show up? Well surprise! Someone will tell them that they can sue your homeowner’s insurance and get a huge payout a few months later!

     I know they’re bots n/ whatever, but still, I hear this from the olds and it’s like they refuse to acknowledge how different we are today. Kids are growing up mainlining pornography that would have made your grandfather vomit, and he was in korea.
