   When I moved a streaming porn company from a data center from Santa Clara to San Francisco (at 0300) my DNS transition was three minutes. The owners paid out $300k to users that couldn't see sec for that time. $5/month, the propriators tossed $150k in "oops" in five minutes.

   My bonus was exceptional.

   Lesson learned: email servers die at night, porn servers get maintenance early afternoon.

   In 9 months, Denmark has had all the rainfall we normally have in an entire year.

   This Friday, one city had 145 millimeters of rain per square meter. And 16 of those millimeters fell within 30 minutes.

   My own city had to close the city center because of flooding.

   2024 is expected to become the wettest year in recorded Danish meteorological history which goes back to 1874.

   Climate change has real consequences and a substantial economic impact.

   The real trouble: Soon this will fall as snow.

   And we're across the finishing line of Picard S3. No spoilers below except the vague and sweeping.

   It was beautifully written. It brought together all the right elements, perfectly set up by the first two seasons. It was shameless fanservice and nostalgia and I loved it. It was a far more epic and conclusive end than "All Good Things ...". No wonder, it was allowed to do it in 10 hours rather than 100 minutes.

   My heart broke a bit at "I miss her voice". Very nice nod, thank you for that. ❤️
