   @slut You know, you're right. S1 set up the whole synth thing that allowed Data to come back yet again and also planted the seed (eh, heh) for the Borg thing, both by bringing them up at all and by presenting Picard's brain issue.

   S2 set up the post credits scene, and that's about it. 😃

   That's slightly unfair, S2 can be said to have set up Picard's emotional growth which made S3 better, and it also created more of a connection between Seven and Picard, but what happened to Laris? And why wasn't the Jurati Queen part of S3? I was expecting and waiting for her to show up. The new Borg should have been part of the solution to the old Borg.

     And we're across the finishing line of Picard S3. No spoilers below except the vague and sweeping.

     It was beautifully written. It brought together all the right elements, perfectly set up by the first two seasons. It was shameless fanservice and nostalgia and I loved it. It was a far more epic and conclusive end than "All Good Things ...". No wonder, it was allowed to do it in 10 hours rather than 100 minutes.

     My heart broke a bit at "I miss her voice". Very nice nod, thank you for that. ❤️
