That reminds me of a "conversation" between Elron Murks and Grady Booch on Twitter. Grady said something like:"Elmo, you have no idea what software engineering is about.", in a polite way.
Moments later an Elmo-fanboy jumped in and said that Grady has no idea and ask if he has ever done anything in software business.

An exception would make sense, in ALL languages. Maybe you can have some "experimental" math library for the math pros, where they can check for new theories. But not for the common programmer dude.
Every math teacher will execute you for that with a wooden square root of a pine tree 🙂
