Not many strangers seek to touch me these days; that kind of stopped with covid here.

I usually like social touching, though, especially kisses on both cheeks. I find it a good way to connect with someone, faster than endless words.

Biden is not perfect, don't worry, I see it.

Voting is a bus, though, not a taxi. The bus may drop you off right where you want to go or it may drop you a few blocks away and you'll have to walk to get to your destination.

The Biden bus has more promise than the Trump bus, is all. If you really can't see that, then what suggestions do you have to offer?

Failed states really suck, as a look at Ethiopia or Syria shows.

Hope you enjoy it if Biden loses and everything gets worse for everyone. You'll really be able to smile in superiority as the Trump govt really goes to town on all the oppressed communities you mention.

To ignore the consequences of not voting is, in my opinion, to put your fingers in your ears and sing 'la la, la la' while you pretend you have no responsibility for the further breakdown of your own society.

You may imagine that it's better if it all falls apart so you can rebuild society the way it's supposed to be, but have a good look at failed states (Eritrea or Syria, for example). Rebuilding is not quick nor easy.
