I do not know how migrant workers and others work long shifts outdoors in this heat. I'm in my mid fifties, and today, I got nauseous with dry heaves just by loading two 40 pound bags of water softener salt pellets into my car's boot today at the supermarket.
Thank Sweet Jebus for AC.
California, obviously, but here in Florida, especially, where the governor passed a bill refusing workers water breaks and rest periods.
