My 6 year old came home from school this week & sat down to a snack
He was quiet for a minute, then said in an *incredibly* horrified & embarrassed tone:
“Mama…did you know people…um…people used to think people like you & me should…have more stuff because…*whisper*…because we have light skin?”
He could not get his head around it. I said that’s true but it was very, very wrong & everyone is equal. But we have work hard to make sure it’s never like that again

When I was a kid in the 70s, my little brother came home from school and told my mother "Did you know that Michael (his classmate) is BLACK?
My mother was aghast.
Turns out some old coot saw them playing in the park and pulled my brother aside and told him not to play with "black kids".
My brother had no concept of race until this douche nozzle came along.
They need to die off faster.

At one point in America there were more black slave owners than white slave owners.
Today there are more black descendants of slave owners than there are white descendants of slave owners.
Africans signed an indenturant contract to pay for the trip to USA and work as an indenturant for a set of years. After which they added another contract to work additional years and that is what got them land and their own slaves.
