Notes from CWG Ops Team on-call: in general it's been a pretty quiet week :)

One thing that comes up often for us is how clunky our registration and on-boarding process is. Joining mastodon on its own is intimidating, but we also add an additional layer of loomio on top of that. I totally understand how intimidating it can be to try to figure out how/when to start a thread or when to make a proposal.

@ntnsndr thanks! I really do want to be more tech literate and start self-hosting. There never feels like there’s enough time to play around and when there time to play around, I end up wanting to play outside.
