*You* are the reason there are developers excited to build great apps for Mastodon.

*You* are the reason that creators are trying to make Mastodon work for them, so they can post great content, here.

*You* are the reason that Mastodon will continue to grow and thrive. So long as you're here, I'll be here.

@Gargron @wjmaggos It's just a minor bug in the obfuscateCounter logic. The underlying counts are accurate, but the way they're reported makes it seem like there's less engagement because the front-end defaults to obfuscating the counts. I honestly thought it was an intentional decision to default to obfuscated counts until I saw someone complain about engagement earlier. It's a quick fix, I'll submit a PR after a I grab a bite to eat.

We're all aware that Mastodon ships with a bug that under-reports the number of replies, boosts, and likes, right?

Seriously: I thought everyone knew, and that it was just sort of accepted by the community at large.
