@Murray_N @Sophistifunk we still have 3 really strong malls left in the greater Seattle area. Not in Seattle, because those shops got looted and closed. But the suburban malls are doing OK. It's not like the 90s to when you couldn't find a parking spot during Christmas season, but they stay busy.

@paulsalzman @cake @Sophistifunk @Murray_N Kemper Freeman owns most of the commercial real estate in Bellevue and he likes Bell Square. I hope he doesn't get rid of it. I'm hoping some experience based business come to the mall to give people another reason to go.

@Salaru the climate junkies are hooked on the carbon narrative. Plastics and chemicals are a real problem but that is complicated and they think that we are too stupid to understand and it would piss off the oil producers, who fund their campaigns.

@DrChris we are totally living in a simulation! And luckily the programmers gave us a lot of beauty to behold and experience. That's one of my focal points this year. I'm so tired of the vitriol and just want to appreciate the beauty.
