@freemo I get what you’re saying, but it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison. People might frown upon cis gender affirmation that they see as vanity, but people are quite literally - and, frankly, genocidally - calling for the “eradication of transgenderism from public life.” In this way, public perception of cis and trans gender-affirming care are not the same. Not even close.

Cis gender-affirming care tends to improve quality of life - which is still important! - more than survival per se.
