I can safely say, after using it for a month. I've fallen in LOVE with the #MATE desktop environment. It's super lightweight, doesn't get in my way, and super customizable! Seriously, its so solid that I don't know why it's not default on *most* distros.

@RL_Dane My unpopular opinion is that I think the new CSD looks pretty cool =P (Seriously though, Adwaita's title bars are way to thick, they need to make it more compact)
