@eaton @ahmetasabanci I kind of don't agree. I think that a lot of the bullshit Elon's on is exactly the same flavor. I think that there's a community of practice around this, and we're seeing it play out in real time. Tho maybe some of this is subsumed by the general partisan political frame.

I haven't really been paying close attention to the state of the discourse around Marc Andreessen's screed, but i just want to say out loud that Andreessen has been selling this same moldering bag of bad ideas since Curtis Yarvin & all the Dark Enlightenment nonsense in like 2007 onwards.
