@nixCraft when apple silicon came out I bought a fusion pro license as UTM wasn’t available yet and parallels was quite a bit more expensive. I find the graphics acceleration of VMware a lot more mature compared to UTM/qemu. Maybe I will continue sticking to VMware even though I rly dislike Broadcom as a company.

@nixCraft note that I almost exclusively use virtualization to play around with Linux distros and test stuff on windows. My software runs in containern. I would not trust VMware on a server.

@Jain no idea how they came up with the pricing, that's in the realm where you could get a cheap hosting package that could run gotosocial easily as a single instance. 🤔

@Jain like 10 years ago I had my own mail server, that was a absolutley miserable experience. super hard to administer and almost everywhere the mails went directly into the spam folder... or in case of microsoft not even in the spam folder, they just dissapeared.

I got some organic and hey milk certified mountain cheese from Austria.
