@roadriverrail Same kind of shit happened to me with Uhaul. Emailed me at 3am the day of my move to say my rental was being moved to a different store over ten miles away. Turns out the place I rented at was closed that day, which they knew at the time of my reservation, and they still let me make it with no warning. There's good reason their corporate HQ Google location is nothing but 1-star reviews.

@roadriverrail On the ups, the person working at the store actually turned up and rented to us anyways. Weird-ass place, half truck rental, half taxidermist, but they saved us so I can't complain.

@roadriverrail @taedryn You are both just screaming for me to take you out shopping. One of the skills I acquired as an AFAB is knowing how to help other people find femme clothes, and I have the deepest urge to use this skill on nb and trans femmes.

My mental health has improved by leaps and bounds since leaving Twitter. I don't miss it one bit. Let that cesspool of hate and anger rot.

Thinking about childhood today. Days running around in the woods, riding my bike to the library, playing DDR until I couldn't breathe, seeing the world as a magical place. Life sucked sometimes but I miss so many moments from it.
