Well, I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is my contract working with the @thunderbird project ended yesterday. :blobcatsadpats:

The good (okay, great) news is that yesterday I signed an offer letter for a full-time, fixed term staff position with Thunderbird! I'll still be working the socials, but expanding into more marketing, ads, and partnerships. I am excited and beyond grateful to keep working in open source with a team I adore and a project I admire. :ablobcatheartsqueeze:

Time to make it Fediverse-official! On Monday, I'll start as a part-time contractor with the amazing @thunderbird Project! I'll be doing all things communications and marketing with the Thunderbird community, and getting to work with a dream team including @killyourfm and @linuxflower . I am excited to keep supporting FOSS communities both for fun and funds, and incredibly grateful for the privilege to do so.

@bashfulrobot @killyourfm Maybe if you dial it up it takes you to Vancouver!

@killyourfm @thunderbird Have fun, eat delicious things with awesome people, and hopefully stay healthy! Sounds like it’s gonna be a pretty great time!

You've got until May 18 to submit a paper for FOSSY! Yay! That means more time to draft and brainstorm - and the 'Community: Open Source in Practice' team would love to help.
