It frustrates me how the approach to building new tech products involves throwing accessibility out the window and building scrappy UIs by throwing frameworks at it as fast as you can to get an MVP out the door, but then the MVP inevitably becomes The Actual Product and the code stays there forever. So many SaaS products we use are completely inaccessible.

What really fucks me off is that there are protests against this blocking the bill rubbish but I’m now too scared to protest in case I get arrested, because I’d lose my job at the bank. But that’s exactly what the govt wanted isn’t it. I wasn’t planning on doing anything illegal but given that someone literally got arrested for a placard that said “fuck imperialism, abolish monarchy” I don’t even know what’s “allowed” any more
