Isn't this part of nearly all software licenses and EULAs? Having a guarantee of correctness is next to impossible to get for most software.Everybody says: look we tried but we do not know if it actually works. At least now product teams are getting more honest about their promises.

hankg (hankg@friendica.myportal.social)'s status on Saturday, 10-Feb-2024 23:51:21 JST hankg @sophie I've already seen places where people are like, "I wasn't sure about this medical topic so I asked ChatGPT and it surprisingly knew the answer." My response, "It gave you an answer. Did you confirm the answer was correct?" This is worse than blindingly taking the first answer from Stackoverflow without checking if it is right or makes any sense. It'd be like blindly taking the first web search result in the early web when some random quack site could come up as a top result. clacke likes this. -

Well, we also sell a product intended for consumption and bearing a sticker stating clearly that consuming it will probably kill you.clacke likes this.
