Some days I get the most intense craving for Chex mix. I wish they had a super bold version that has even more roasted garlic and Worcestershire sauce baked into it. And no pretzels or bread sticks.

Re: CWs, I think a lot of folks feel like it’s a blanket to hide the less savory parts of life from people with trauma. Upon some reflection, this scenario reminds me of a phrase used in talking about police and racist Karen interactions: that it’s there to minimize white discomfort.

@mekkaokereke @Bam @thetitanborn any specific things allies can do to help? My brain jumped to helping finance and support primarily black or BIPOC instances but I’m a bit sheltered/privileged and there’s bound to be a lot I’m missing.

@Bam @andy_twosticks @mekkaokereke @thetitanborn it might be unrealistic to implement for Mastodon, but I kinda liked the way the forums at Something Awful had a user 'rap sheet' showing the history of suspensions and bans per user and the name of the moderator and their reason for taking action.

Need to get my car's horn fixed and some other repairs to keep 'er road-worthy. Dropping $2k on the whole shebang. Could use some help.

An overzealous powerwashing crew sent by my landlord's office started our building early without us being given any notice, so now I'm having a massive allergic reaction from dust and pollen, had to move a ton of shit off my patio, and they damaged my brand new doormat.

Cambridge/Boston! Thank you for the good times and reminding me what walking in snow felt like. Same time next year?
