I don’t know who needs to hear this, but, not everyone you dislike is a narcissist, and not everyone who disagrees with you doesn’t understand the thing you’re talking about.

On the one hand it was upsetting because I’d clearly hurt his feelings one time, but I apologised and we were able to get on well, and also it was quite funny to me that ANYONE would find me, the person who can’t leave her house, and struggles to do her supermarket big shop, intimidating.

I was at work this weekend and one of the comedians who’d been chatty and upbeat all night just sat in the corner silently with his eyes on his phone when it was just us. I engaged in conversation and I don’t remember what led to it but I said “listen, I’m not as much of a cunt as people think, I know my reputation” and it allowed him to open up, turned out I’d been blunt with him once and he thought I was mean. This 6’4”, 22 stone man was a little scared and intimidated by me.
