I've lost money to inflation year over year every year except when I've changed jobs entirely. The best way to get a raise is to leave and come back at the new going rate.

Bipartisanship can only cost them votes because they've cast us as the ultimate villains with whom no compromise is morally supportable. Subsequently, bipartisanship can only cost us lives because there will never be reciprocation.

Every inch we give is permanent. Every inch we gain is temporary.
