@evan 'All of the above' could be a single choice. But fine. I'll pick one. :)

Happy 31st Birthday to the #PHP programming language.

Ooof, breach of McKinsey & Company’s internal AI platform, “Lilli".

Through this breach, CodeWall claims it could access 46.5 million internal chat messages, 57,000 user accounts, 384,000 AI assistants, and 94,000 workspaces. The firm described this as “the complete organizational structure of how the company uses AI internally” and “the crown jewels of corporate intellectual property.”

@ramsey @chris Unfortunately this is a mess dinner at the legion. “Suit” was listed under alternative options if you weren’t in FORMAL wear. Or uniform.

I too, like the jeans and sport coat approach, but don’t think that would work for this one.

@chris they fit before dinner, at least.

This is exactly what happened. I meant to get new ones.

Facepalm moment.

I think I accidentally donated my last pair of dress pants. Was supposed to be at a formal event in an hour.

@_chrismay Hey @chris I know you were working on your German. What'd you use?

If you're using firebase/php-jwt v6, surprise!

GitHub Advisory GHSA for CVE-2025-45769 ignores NVD "Disputed" status, blocks all php-jwt v6 users.

Have never noticed in French that conditioner is “Après-Shampoing”

(After shampooing)

@chris Since moving to a small town, most trips in the car are 30-45 minutes. Great for listening to a chapter or two, or a podcast.

@chris I like them for driving.

My reading physical books plummeted when I stopped spending hours in the air going to WordCamps.

@chris @shawnhooper@bookrastinating.com did you read it or listen to the audiobook?

A colleague gifted me the audio book and the way they voiced Rocky was amaze amaze amaze.

@chris Reply.

@thomasfuchs oof. Good luck. Hope you like coffee.

@bluecorncrust Well.....

Hey #ottawa folks - @pluralistic is going to be in Ottawa on October 25th on his #Enshittification book tour.

Sadly I already have plans that night. But you should go!

@chris I guess I don’t want to have to spend forever installing extensions. I want the opinionated environment.

I also prefer JetBrains git merge tool over anything else.

@chris I'm going deeper into JetBrains. Just got approval to get another one of their IDEs (PyCharm).

I'm so sick of trying to use VSCode. I don't want a text editor. I want an IDE.
