Running Tailscale client on both my phone and computer.

I'm running https://www.audiobookshelf.org/docs/#docker-compose-install as a Docker container. It monitors all my RSS feeds and downloads new episodes.

Using https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shelfplayer/id6475221163 on my iPhone. Logged in via the Tailscale network IP.

It has a nice web interface for managing your feeds to.

@outofcontrol @chris @acarson Ok, this chat was enough to get me off my ass. VPN set up between my phone + home network. Audiobooksehlf server running on Docker, Shelfplayer on my phone (iOS).

That's my podcast listening taken care of.

@chris @acarson I still have my DJ music library. As long as I keep my license up, and have access to those music pools. Great for singles and remixes but not for full albums.

I’ve been listening to more playlists and live sets on SoundCloud too.

Switching podcast listening to another app with archives downloaded at home on Audiobookshelf.

@acarson @chris I just cancelled my Spotify subscription. Haven’t picked a replacement yet. Thinking using my own library might be the way. Set up a VPN into the house so I can play from my phone.

@dustinrue Depends on the project. If it was just my own blog, I'd probably roll my own in Laravel, or just write it in HTML. It's be 90% paragraph tags.
