   @shawnhooper I was using Duolingo for primary vocab and had started reading childrens books, social media, etc in German. I was pretty proficient at written German that way, but not so much speaking it. @_chrismay

     Mastodon friends, I'm planning on taking a trip to Germany in the next year, and I'd like to get better at speaking the language.

     What apps or other methods would you recommend I look into?
