@WarnerCrocker You clearly called out something I often mention that almost no one else is talking about. This is an incredibly dangerous moment in the world and without knowledgeable competent leaders, things are so much more likely to spiral out of control in a potentially catastrophic way.

@WarnerCrocker I have always wondered if it does that because some servers may respond slowly and possibly the timeline fills in asynchronously. This usually seems to happen soon after a refresh

TFW you are reading an interest post and before your eyes the timeline updates and you can’t find the post you were reading. Is there a #Mastodon app that doesn’t do this? I’m trying out Ice Cube. It pulls in more posts than the official app, but this is driving me nuts. Happens to me regularly.

@mikecane @WarnerCrocker @stroughtonsmith Here something new and weird: iMessage is showing me a set of « frequently used » emojis that I haven’t used lately and some of which I have never used at all. It is almost as if it’s someone else’s set.
