I have to jump into this very interesting discussion to ask one semi-related question: why "Calckey"?

I'm new to the Fediverse, using Mastodon & loving it, eager to try out some of the other Fedi apps. But "Calckey" sounds like some math application or perhaps a spreadsheet. It's freaking me out! 🙂

Fascinating piece; thanks for sharing that! This might sound dumb, but as a newbie to the Fediverse and a casual user of social media, my reasons for going with Mastodon were pretty simple: it's the first twitter alternative I heard about; i tried it & liked it & don't really feel like learning another one just now. I have seen references to MissKey, but the name is so terrible I haven't bothered to look into it. That's superficial, i know ? It does sound interesting though!
