Due to "anti-features" introduced unilaterally by some people from FDroid community, it is not possible to find Organic Maps using the search in FDroid client without tinkering with its settings first: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/issues/3347

By default, it is possible to find apps with ads, with tracking, with non-free network services, dependencies and assets, apps without source code and with known vulnerabilities. But it is not possible to find Organic Maps, an open-source app without ads and tracking.

Last night Organic Maps was removed from the Play Store without any warnings or additional details due to "not meeting the requirements for the Family Program". Compared to Google Maps and other maps apps rated for 3+ age, there are no ads or in-app purchases in Organic Maps. We have asked for an appeal.

The May 2024 Organic Maps update supports bookmarks and tracks sorting by name, paved paths are white, and unpaved ones are brown. @nicemicro are your changes included in the OpenStreetMap.org data snapshot used in OM? The date is displayed in the about dialog.

@AzureFubuki @daltux @openstreetmap Are your addresses present at OpenStreetMap.org ? Organic Maps finds only what’s there. There are plans to add external open addresses databases support. Are you in the US?
