I will never understand anyone with an unopened vinyl record of any kind on their shelf.

A complete and total waste. Pointlessly collecting dust.

Records are meant to be played and enjoyed.

Give me a break. They weren't the first. Less than a week later, they're not the last.

A few cans flew in a stadium of 105k. The game was stopped for like 2 minutes.

But the fans were "objectively very bad".

I doubt it.

That's not excusing Texas, but I don't believe coverage is balanced in any way.

It's funny how everyone is on Texas bc they lost to one of the best teams in college football (oooops, I mean.... bc everyone everyone likes to hate on Texas bc their school.... isn't Texas. Silly me!)

They're quick to say they don't belong in the SEC.

But let's talk about Oklahoma, shall we? You know, the team moved at the exact same time? The one that's about to be 1-4 in SEC play? And lost to Texas?

Shall we? Nah.

That wouldn't be nearly as interesting bc no one cares about OU. 🤷

A quick thread of appreciation for my new Scally Hat. What an incredible special edition drop.

It's the 4th hat in their annual Nightmare collection. This one is Friday the 13th themed.
My fav by far!

It's a BEAUTIFUL patchwork hat. Those have really grown on me lately.

It comes in a detailed collector's box. It comes w/ a lanyard, 4x Friday the 13th themed hat pins, a collector's bag, & an incredible print on the inside of the hat.

Watching hockey on tv in 2024 is a mind fuck of an experience between the real ads on the boards and the fake ads on the boards and the real ads on the ice and the fake ads on the ice and the way they change based on what camera angle is being shown.

It makes for a miserable game watching experience if you're paying close attention.

Like I do.

In my County it appears about 5% of registered voters voted yesterday. Which doesn't seem overly huge.

Not sure where that stacks in history.

But I do know a few locations reported 2-3 hour wait times and that is not a typical thing in my County at all.

This game is a great example of why I refuse to pay top dollar to go to major sporting events.

Lotta people dropped a lot of money to see a terrible game and have a real bad time at DKR tonight.

They're getting mauled.

You mentioned previously. That's a shame, but at least you try and help them out.

I 100% do more than I have to do, but I'm not trying to be a martyr or anything. I could make it easier on myself. I could easily do less or buy for less people.

But I give modest gifts for the most part. Even still, I do enjoy spreading Christmas joy where I can.

You guys.... I am about 40% done with Xmas shopping already.

I think I'll be wrapped up before Thanksgiving this year. Not mad about it.

Don't know they can find them or there's an issue with the system finding them? Bc I am CONSTANTLY searching Threads handles and I rarely find any of those "high profile" users.
