@Dianora Interesting, tell me more. This is a new thing to me.

@zens @mhoye We had an ultrasound remote (took batteries though) when I was a little kid in the 70s. I also owned a metal Slinky that would trigger TV functions when I moved it from hand to hand. Over time I learned how to use the Slinky to change to specific channels.

Just because the media stops being interested in something doesn't mean it's not still happening.

Ottawa's air quality is incredibly bad today. Why? Quebec wildfires.

Remember that? Remember the fire? The whole climate change thing? The utter direness of it all when, for a brief time, the wind shifted and brought the smoke into New England?

Yeah, that's all still happening.
