Because they have ideas largely based on fiction and rumors, far-right people absolutely loathe fact checkers.
Usually the responses to them are very primitive, but I just read a lengthy article that is absolutely incredible in its delusion.
Here's a reactionary Catholic writer trying to say that Democrats actually have more of a problem with believing disinformation. It's like stepping into an alternate universe https://thespectator.com/topic/rise-blueanon-conspiracy-theories/
The original poster of the "they're eating the pets of the people that live there" rumor has been revealed. Unsurprisingly, it was fourth hand information.
As always, right wing media is a disinformation human centipede. https://www.newsguardrealitycheck.com/p/origins-haitians-eating-pets-claim
From start to finish, Kamala Harris dominated Donald Trump.
At the beginning, she pointed out how he worsened the pandemic and destroyed the economy.
After pointing out his 1/6 treason, she then pointed out that Trump would lie constantly during the discussion. He proved her point.
Moms for Liberty, the insane religious hate group that Donald Trump spoke at, featured a woman claiming onstage that homosexuality is a "demonic spiritual attack."
The Republican party elites never changed what they believed about #lgbtqia, despite what their lying representatives like Scott Jennings say.
Trump subconsciously admitted today that he refers to Hannibal Lecter because there are no real people he can mention who are cannibals or insane asylum residents being sent across the border.
If there were actual people like he imagines coming in as illegal immigrants, he would 100% mention them. Instead, he references imaginary people.
He's using fictional characters hypothetically coming in as an argument. Total moron.
Andrey Sidorov, Deputy Dean of world politics at the Moscow State University on why Russia loves Donald Trump and the Republican party:
“I will always root for Trump. Trump is a direct path to civil war in the United States.”
After lying that he'd be "great for women and their reproductive rights” and pretending to favor free IVF, Donald Trump says he won't vote to overturn Florida's extreme 6 week abortion ban.
This is why you can't trust his Project 2025 denials. He'll say anything to win. No denial or promise he makes can be believed.
Wow, it looks like a huge percentage of people who like RFK Jr think he's his father. This is a 2023 poll, but I bet it still holds up.
Bobby Junior probably loves the poorly educated as well! https://echeloninsights.com/in-the-news/which-kennedy-is-it/
Just like Donald Trump, Elon Musk trusts mail-in voting for his own ballots, while also promoting lies about its security to the general public. https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/rcna168854
Ben Sasse has done nothing but fail during his entire career. Now we find out that after doling out tens of millions of dollars in wasteful spending to cronies, he is getting paid $1 million a year to do literally nothing by Floridians. https://www.tampabay.com/news/education/2024/08/26/sasse-keep-1-million-salary-uf-until-2028/
@timo21 He probably is, although I think the bigger factor in his career has been that he runs interference for reactionaries, putting reasonable-sounding words to policies that are destructive and foolish.
He did this with Trump before leaving the Senate. He then switched to doing it for Ron DeSantis, which is why he got the UF job in the first place.
Unfortunately, white collar companies are filled with legions of people like him, thoroughly mediocre, but they check the ideological box.
Astrology is the perfect example of the "post hoc ergo propter hoc" fallacy.
People born in the same time period do share some common experiences such as seasons (as in Babylonian) or big events (Chinese). But those commonalities have nothing to do with stars.
Sadly, however, many millions of people are think astrology is real.
Only 51% of Americans correctly say astrology isn't real https://today.yougov.com/entertainment/articles/42292-one-four-americans-say-they-believe-astrology
Trump was anointed by gawd when he was grazed by a bullet, according to a reporter with the "Right Side Broadcasting network."
It's all about the Levitical priest ordination and pig's blood on the ear or something.
These people are disturbed religious cultists. They are never beating the "weird" thing.
Normal people want to live their lives rather than worship a dimwitted orange criminal

A Pennsylvania judge rejected Cornel West's attempt to get onto the state's ballot because he failed to meet elector eligibility requirements.
Unsurprisingly, West's attorney is a Republican activist. West is a grifter who is just trying to get money https://apnews.com/article/pennsylvania-ballot-2024-independent-cornel-west-rfk-406dd1a46489e3049ab70e1633a28414
Fox News censored every single Black speaker at the Democratic National Convention tonight except for Kamala Harris's brief welcome speech.
What a disgusting display of racism!
Fox censored:
-Karen Bass
-Laphonza Butler
-James Clyburn
-Jasmine Crockett
-Raphael Warnock
In case you missed it, Jasmine Crockett's speech was absolute fire tonight at the #DNC2024
Here it is in full. She laid out the case against Trump perfectly and why Kamala Harris must defeat him.
🧵 It's really stunning how many people who claimed Democrats should "reach out to rural people" really just meant "be Paul Ryan."
#TimWalz is everything these pundits 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 to want. What they 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 wanted was a conservative Democratic party.

This is a wild story that says a lot about right-wing evangelicalism:
1) Matt Bevin, the Republican former Kentucky governor, adopted a boy from Ethiopia for PR purposes
2) Bevin and his wife decided they don't like the boy so they ship him off to an abusive "troubled teen" facility in Jamaica
3) Jamaican government shuts down the horrible group
4) Bevin family abandoned the boy in Jamaica after the facility was closed
