@nicholas_saunders@blogdiva I agree that this is a great example of the value of "fair use," and why the Internet Archive is so valuable.
People should be able to preserve and exhibit copyrighted content for non-commercial purposes. It is no different than a library, and is actually more necessary since websites are so easily erased from the internet.
@blogdiva Well it's their property so unfortunately, they can decide what to do with it. They clearly felt that it was too difficult to convert things over to static sites since they weren't getting any revenue from it.
While you weren't looking, the Christian right has established a gigantic social media brainwashing operation telling young people that creepy pastors should control everyone's sex life.

They can't defeat the opposition intellectually, so they've decided to force everyone to obey through politics.
RFK Jr's black voter engagement director Angela Stanton King admits her goal is to help "our guy" Donald Trump by tricking black people into throwing their vote away.
"I love Trump... I don't want to just give it over to Joe Biden... we know that it's us against the Democrats."

With some variations it is as follows: 1) The maximum leader (Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, etc) 2) Political party 3) Wealth 4) Religion 5) Race 6) Sex 7) Locality
In this framework, it is not wrong for Donald Trump to engage in actions that violate Christian teachings. Nor is it wrong for wealthy people to do so.
The whole "let's replace Joe Biden with an invisible pink unicorn at the convention" thing is nothing but a fantasy that is apparently entertaining to some political and media types, but it is a delusion.
