@LukeAlmighty typically the family member who died is the one who pays for their own funeral with their savings but if you don't got any money I would start saving. Funerals are very expensive so I would save a couple thousand, In U.S.D the funeral typically costs around 8000$ to 5000$
@beardalaxy Yeah I'm definitely going to do it more often! Especially now because I don't think I even need to introduce magic into my world the premise of dead lovecraftian gods scattered everywhere and no one knows anything it's just an interesting concept.
It also adds a lot more room to where I can tailor a specific villain and more interesting characters because the world building is passive.
After talking to my friend for almost 4 hours about my story I've been creating & the world development.
For the past day I've had so many breakthroughs and a lot new and interesting ideas that came to me because of it I can't thank him enough.
I've really honed in what I think is the most interesting aspect in a feeling that I want to embody the most.
And I think this is a lot more interesting because I want to create a world where essentially every single lovecraftian God is dead.
The remains are scattered across the landscape and there's nothing but the purity of silence and calmness. Remnants of their madness remains but is fading. The other cast like I want to have is that the world is going to be incredibly brutal but at the end of the day everyone truly does care about each other.
@icedquinn a lot of people don't want to hear this but I think a shrinking population isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Because if there is less people gradually over time your labor should be worth more because there's less people who can fulfill that role and less competition naturally. It also means that the people who are left generally have more access to resources theoretically.
@LukeAlmighty now that I think about it I'm surprised no one has made an ad blocker to where you have to click a gun icon which immediately makes a bang sound then remove all the ads from the page it'd be really funny.
Do you guy like this one more then the last or am I completely off base? I do think the name will stick. "Marie" is a word from Maori that means calming.
The title underneath might change or even removed if I keep iterating.
@icedquinn I still find it extremely honorable and funny how I think it was the ex ceo or the creator of Costco threatened to kill the current CEO if he even thought of raising the hot dog price.
@icedquinn Personally I think it should only be a maximum of 10 years but it puts pressure on the inventor or author to create everything they need to create before it expires.
However I could definitely compromise at 20 because I know a lot of different inventions and medicine takes years to create and they definitely want to generate a large profit for it.
It's still insane the irreparable damage that Disney has done to copyright law.
@icedquinn We should just kind of get rid of copyright laws and any laws relating to that because it doesn't really do anything other than stifle creativity and innovation and it's a crime that people can sit on IPS in different inventions for almost 100 years and do nothing with them and then right before it's about to be released to the public domain all of a sudden they start pumping stuff out it's insane!
Looking through a lot of their letters and things that they actually wanted to implement into the government but never made it through really opened my eyes to how truly based the founding father's were and the only reason this stuff didn't go through is because they had a fight with other people who weren't as based as them.
It truly is sad that great men are handicapped by bugmen.
