@Jennifer @ai6yr I go by the wind. If the fire’s within 20 miles and blowing my way at 20-40 mph, I’m grabbing the go bag, packing the cats up, and treating myself to a drive through coffee shop further away. I want to be out before traffic goes bumper to bumper.

The fire has been mapped at 1,674 acres as of 3:02am per mapping from FIRIS OES Intel 24. Their perimeter can be viewed in the image above or on the CAL FIRE website. Note: the perimeter will be added to the Watch Duty map when available.

Please note that fire perimeters indicate the general burn area but do not detail the measures being taken to protect buildings and homes. The remaining Exclusion Zones/No Entry Zones have been lifted and are open to residents.

Please be aware that you may experience low water pressure if you are in the Upper Canyon. In addition, there is still a strong possibility of flash floods and landslides. If you hear a call to evacuate the area, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE CANYON!
