Rather annoyed at #Newsnight tonight. They're talking about which party leaders have done the best since the election and they're only talking about 4 parties: the three biggest (fine, I can see the reason for that) and the far-right, who only have 4 seats, exactly the same number as the Greens, who are being ignored once again! *Sigh*

And guess which of the parties has the noisy excitement about it from the panel? 🙄

As long as the API doesn't change so mobile apps can still have granularity, that's fine.

How widely does "AI-generated" apply? Is it just LLMs and Dali-like image generators or does it include bots that reply to people? (I forget if they're allowed here at all, TBH, but I know people do run them)...

@thomasfuchs The dictionary I checked agreed with "creativity" but didn't specify "human", so I guess the question is whether animals can be creative? There are those Australian(?) birds that create "sculptures" out of parts of their environment to attract a mate: does that count as creative and art or is attracting a mate enough of a purpose to be design instead? I mean, you could say that some human art had the same purpose?

(Sorry if I'm getting too philosophical, I can shut up if you like)

@thomasfuchs I guess point 1 depends on the definition of "art", which has shifted over the years. Not that "AI Art" is any of them, but other animals' art could still class as art?
