The trouble is, thanks to the way our previous governments tied the electricity market to the natural gas market, over here electricity goes up relative to fossil fuels but starts at 4x the cost in the first place, so people don't want to use it for heating...

I had to order something on a website today where they had Google Reviews integration, but the Google Review button was permanently at the bottom right of the screen. The "basket" menu, showing the things I was buying, was displaying fixed as a panel that popped out of the right of the screen, so it couldn't scroll. Its "checkout" button was at the bottom of the panel. I had to go into the developer settings and delete thee whole Google Reviews iframe to pay for my order!

I wrote an "AI" that could pass the Turing test when I was 17 (a long time ago): it just spouted abuse at you and acted like a traditional Internet troll. I called it "NoobAI". The Turing test is a test of how easy to fool humans are, not of robots at all!
