[Thats's literally done with #Webservers and #Databases where they're run as dedicaded users which have no privilegues excpet their own use-cases

Any #E2EE #Messenger with #SelfCustody of all Keys should be considered security-sensitive and thus should not he used as a #WebApp.

Also #ChromeOS supports #Android-Apps and if you don't have administrative privilegues on a machine then consider it insecure and nit trustworthy for yourself as a user!

Ehat surprises me is that @Techaltar hasn't noticed that whilst #Windows is dying, #Linux basically owns the #Server and #embedded space to the point that anything else is just a rounding error and it's gaining ground and traction on the #Desktop faster than #Windows is loosing it.

I mean shure a lot of #Users started with and stick to #Android espechally in #EmergingMarkets but that is just a #toybox + #musl / Linux distro with a fancy #Java-"Desktop" #UI on top...
