@StillIRise1963 it's hard not to see these capitulations the result of being one or both of two things:

1. decisions made by people of privilege who have never had to fight for anything in their life, who now cave due to fear

2. they're ok with the fascism

@billyjoebowers @SrRochardBunson ok, but here's a thing about the idea of lizard people: do you recall that part of the idea of lizard people-aliens taking over was that they would ruin the earth's climate to make it warmer for themselves? I think of this when I see the lack of inaction around climate change
