@sun I used to like Pelican, but I didn't use it for long enough that I forgot how, and now it's a friggin' research project to learn that again and then bring my ancient blog up to standards

I ended up going with Wordpress for the Surfhosting site for exactly this reason :(

@strypey yeah, I mean @element should probably focus on shipping products that work properly, don't have dogshit UX, and don't take a nuclear powered data center rack to run once there are more than 5 users

@sun when I was a kid my mother subscribed to Uptime, a monthly "magazine" distributed on floppy disk, 360KB DS/DD in our case. it was annoying to try to get the software off it bc they used a special compressed format + loader.
